Guest sukh singh Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=772795 Any chance of us getting it to work on the streak?
Guest sukh singh Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Im starting to really get pissed off with Dell http://psfreedom.com/wiki/index.php?title=Dell_Streak
Guest RichB93 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Would this be possible now with the new 3.09 kernel that Dell have released?
Guest Stephen Hyde Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 i might see what i can do with this a little later in week
Guest sukh singh Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 i might see what i can do with this a little later in week sounds good...would be amazing if this worked! With what you have achieved already should be easy steve... Hopefully it will work with PS3 3.50 as I updated my software for black ops after months of holding back=(
Guest RichB93 Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 Wow that would be amazing Steve! I'll be donating soon, you've done so much for the community it's amazing. Oh and as for downgrading I think that the current method is a PSDowngrader stick which can do this, however as fas as I'm aware some people are attempting to reverse engineer it and make an opensourced version.
Guest Stephen Hyde Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 not gonna promise it';ll be soon tho, work looks quite a challenge to do
Guest RichB93 Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 I did find this website which I believe has some instructions for building the recovery image B)
Guest RichB93 Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) Hmm I've just realised that Gran Turismo 5 has been released and it'll require the latest system software to run, so I won't be able to test this even if you do build it B) Hopefully a downgrade method will be worked out soon, although atm there isn't a great deal of useful homebrew out afaik. Guest twe Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Didn't they find a way to spoof what firmware version is on the system so you can run newer games? Or was I dreaming?
Guest RichB93 Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Didn't they find a way to spoof what firmware version is on the system so you can run newer games? Or was I dreaming? Yeah but you can't play online and secondly the game was built with PS3 SDK 3.50 so it will not run on anything lower. It just black screens afaik.
Guest twe Posted November 25, 2010 Report Posted November 25, 2010 Thanks for the info. Not kept up to date with that either since I upgraded beyond 3.41 but I think you can downgrade it now so its tempting.
