Can u root with no USB?

Hi All,

I have tried and tried to find this answer to this question think it's a big fat no but just want to make sure!

My pulse has a broken USB port (can't get it replaced live in Cyprus ) but I would love to be able to root the phone and try out some of the great looking custom roms here.

Anyone know of a way to do this?
