Browse web and call at the same time?

Hi All,

is there a way to get on the pulse the ability to both have a phone call and browse the web at the same time? Switching tasks works fine, but unfortunately the 3g data link seems to go down when a call is being made. Is this something that's dependent on some setting, or a general limitation of the phone or android (1.5 in my case)?

I wouldn't if I were you.

On more powerful androd phones, maybe, but on the pulse.. You're likely to kill it or drop your call :P

Sure, but at this point I can't even try to... Do you know how?

BTW, the horse-power required isn't likely to be excessive, provided that 2G/3G actually allows a data link and voice call at the same time (does it?).

3G can do voice and data at the same time. 2G can't.

I certainly have never had the 3G data 'go down' whilst I've been making a call but then I don't tend to browse the web whilst talking to somebody on the phone that often. I've done it once whilst checking prices online whilst talking to a friend and it worked fine.

Hmm... Mine always seems to have switched to 2G when I exit a call... Thought it was some sort of 'feature'!
