Guest JannaMann Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Sorry for my bad english... I have the Modaco Custom rom r7. Suddenly my phone shut down. I have also apps2sd2 and after i removed the battery, and power on. It wont mount the sd card. I go to settings-sd card... And press mount sd card. It just says "Safe to remove SD" but it does not mount. So many of the apps are gone. When I connect to a pc (Win7) it cant see the sd card. Is the phone bricked? Please help someone.. Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance well if your computer cant see the SD card either it seems like the reboot has bircked your SD card, this has been known to happen occasionally with desires. the phone is fine though in most cases and you just need another SD card ... sorry about your apps!

I also have this but.... The SD card (8Gb) works in another phone, and the SD (2Gb) from the other phone works in my Desire
Guest andygeog Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 I also have this but.... The SD card (8Gb) works in another phone, and the SD (2Gb) from the other phone works in my Desire +1 for this. I recently upgraded from r8 to r9 from the online kitchen. My Desire is now telling it's safe to remove the SD card and it will not recognise it. I then reflashed with my old r8 ROM and the SD card worked perfectly. There appears to be a bug in the r9 that stops it from recognising the SD. Does anyone know a solution? Andy
Guest Thomas1107 Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 (edited) Take the sd card out.. put another one in, reboot, take the old one and put it back in.. Worked on my r9 wip..:) Edited October 28, 2010 by Thomas1107

Andy It happened to me when I went r8 to r9 as well but in trying to fix I formatted SD so now don't have an r8 backup to revert to :)
