Menu UNLOCK

How is it possible to enable Menu to UNLOCK in Froyo Sense roms? I'm sure it was standard in 2.1 roms and now it doesn't work in newer roms including loads of custom roms i have tried.

Is it possible to enable it somehow? I've no idea if it's a patched HTCLockscreen.apk or what?!?!

Are you using trackball wake?

That seems to break it in some circumstances IIRC.

Yes infact every rom I have tried has had this feature. Which I see as pretty useless unless it also unlocks! Will try and find a suitable rom that doesn't have this feature. It seems to be an addition in your prebakes also.

Ok spoke too soon. Tried an almost totally stock rom. Only has these changes,

* Added root (including busybox)

* Superuser App (ChainsDD)

* Added bash

* Boot sound disabled

* Zipaligned

And same result. No menu to unlock and the menu unlock app from market does not work either. :P

Very sad right now!

Not that it helps you in any way, but I use modaco T9 with trackpad wake. On my phone menu unlock works perfectly. I have disabled sense lock screen, beside that I have no particular add-on.

Thanks for the input. It does work with standard lockscreen i am aware of that. I want it to work on the HTC lockscreen though. After reading up apparantly HTC removed the feature to unlock using menu as soon as they released froyo. So that's my problem :P

I'm not very happy now lol.
