[solved]bricked liquid - fastboot failed

hi, I have bricked my liquid while trying to flash 2.2 leaked bin, got an error fastboot failed from acer download tool.

ever since then I have tried two other 2.1 roms and am getting same error. the error comes when system.img is being flashed.

do we have a way to flash bin file without using acer tool. I had not installed malez recovery.

sorry man, its the liquid that has been bricked.have been trying to get the liquid up, was posting the thread from my spica so got confused.sorry again.

ok , i have been trying to key in the following commands,

fastboot -i 0x0502 flash boot boot.img

fastboot -i 0x0502 flash system system.img

fastboot -i 0x0502 flash data userdata.img

fastboot -i 0x0502 flash recovery recovery.img

fastboot -i 0x0502 reboot

but when i key in the first command , it stays stuck on waiting for device, can someone help.

Is your Liquid still recognizable by the PC? If so, try to download another version of ADT and try to re-download another Rom(.bin file)

It works for me when I encounter the same problem(Fastboot fail), once I download the froyo leak from another site again, it works perfectly :P

uninstall and install your USB Driver.

yes my PC is still recognizable by pc, can you please give me link to other version of ADT.

guys the problem is solved.

my win xp pc was running very slow hence fastboot was failing, windows 7 lappy was even slower....usb was being given least preference.

removed useless apps from winxp machine, and used the same ADT tool and the MD5 fail 2.1 rom and voila , it worked perfect.

[CAN SOMEONE PLZZZZZZZZZ HELP ME HAD MY ACER LIQUID FOR TWO WEEKS SO I DECIDED TO TRY AND UPDATE THE OS TO 2.1 DIDNT HAVE A CLUE WHAT

I WAS DOING IN THE END I BRICKED IT NOW IAM WELL GUTTED JUST GETTING A BLACK SCRREN THEN SOME SORT OF OS BOOT SYSTEM SCRIPT MY PC WONT EVEN RECOGNISE THE PHONE
