Welcome to the forum but really you asked this question in an identical thread here

Just 12 hrs before starting this thread and because no one answered you immediately you opened yet another duplicate thread please don't do this it clutters up the Forum badly and makes navigating it a nightmare. Especially when the answer to the question you are asking could be found yourself by just reading all the other threads on it. There really is no definitive answer either each user will have varying needs and experiences its you that needs to read all the information and then decide for your self what you think is best for you. Also it will depend on if you are happy and able to flash images and Roms as if not that will restrict your options greatly but if you are going to try these things and have no experience of it you will need to read things very carefully and make sure you understand and are comfortable with what you are trying to do. But seeing as you describe yourself as a noob to Android i certainly wouldn't advise rushing into anything as you will risk ending up with a stuck device and may find it hard to fix it. Sorry if my post seems harsh but the Forum is becoming a mess with all these duplicate posts and if no one points it out to you and others its only going to continue and get worse.

Contrary to popular opinion often expressed by new forum users across the world, tech forums are visited (noe visited not inhabited) by people who have a life in the real world. and arent there to respond at peoples Beck and call especially at the wkend when there's hangovers and families to deal with

One day some one will come up with a PHP bot that can answer these seemingly identical queries, and respond immediately, which obviously still won't be fast enough for most people.

I'll answer the query succinctly, there's no upgrade for you yet.so wait

Less succinctly:

5 minutes reading would show you that 02 branded streaks have had an upgrade to 2.1

another 2 minutes would have shown that despite being told its not designed for their devices, who don't have o2 UK branded streaks, are flashing it any way, there's now lots of people crying about going back to the shipped rom

15 More minutes would give you the technical nouse to decide if you are capable of going through the stages needed to flash it, and are capable of fixing any messes you could get yourself in by doing it.

Google really is your friend here.. it helps lots
