No sim

Being in Italy I picked up an prepaid sim from TIM beating roaming cost (24 euro all in for 3 Gb data). Stuck the rebelsim on it (V 1.2) and it work fine for two weeks. Two days ago, for some strange reason the combination rebelsim & TIM sim doesn't work anymore. The phone displays No Sim! I have some spare rebelsim's I tried, stuck the TIM sim with rebelsim in my other Streak, same issue. Nothing wrong with the TIMsim as it works fine in an unlocked 3G iPhone. Anyone an clue?

-Have you check its the sim is the right way round

-Have you check to see if all the metal contacts line up correctly

Those are the things that came to mind (and checked this), but it occured while I was busy on the interwebs with the streak.
