Guest Chandler3224 Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 (edited) Hey all. Wonder if I could pick your brains. I'm pretty sure that my phone battery is knackered. It's the stock battery but hardly lasts. I've attached some screenshots that, hopefully, show the extent of the problem. The battery was fully charged and unplugged. After a few hours the battery has dropped to 30%. I haven't done much this morning. Browsed Reddit for a bit, checked email, checked twitter, that's it. Nothing too heavy. No live wallpaper, no widgets apart from the HTC battery widget and a ringer toggle. All notifications have been turned off on 3rd party apps, can't think of much else. I'm using r9 of the desire MoDaCo rom with sense and the extra scripts to change the speed when in standby. http://imgur.com/94SOT.png http://imgur.com/f8rVK.png Does anyone know how I can test my battery life? Anything to compare it to? Is it worth getting a new battery? Any help is appreciated. Edit: battery gets really hot too, even when not charging and not using apps. Guest The Virus 2013 Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Try to reinitialize your battery. Use it until the phone shut down by itself, then let the phone off and plug in. Let it charge until it's full + 2 hours (a full night is what I do).
