Guest DanWilson
Your Fastboot instructions do not work on PPC-macs. Hmm? How would I fix that?
Guest Holograph
Hmm? How would I fix that? There are 2 thing what might cause the problem: - The script isn't correct - The script IS correct, but FastBoot isn't compiled for PowerPC-Macs. If the last case applies, we can't fix it. Guest Stevos
Is anyone else getting reboots when installing apps from the market? Edit: Seems to be fixed by flashing the hungarian 2.1 and amon-ra, then installing Tom's CM6 via fastboot, rebooting to amon-ra and installing the gapps-mini Edited October 11, 2010 by Stevos
Guest DanWilson
Is anyone else getting reboots when installing apps from the market? I'm using the CM6 flash and flash2 zips posted by flbsan along with the gapps-tiny. Settings are set to install to internal, and I've tried removing / repartitioning the SD, wiping settings and re-installing. I was based on the UK 2.1 - is the partition sizing likely to be causing problems? Weird that. I'll setup my Google Account and download an app. Maybe it's because you're using an older CM. Ah don't worry, I don't think it's a current issue - It worked fine after flashing the HU ROM, then using fastboot with TOM's CM6 in the first post. Not sure quite what was causing it though. At least I don't need to setup my GAccount.
Guest Rumcájsz
Linux Make a folder in /home/<USERNAME>/Documents called "Froyo". Copy the images and the fastboot-linux file (Here if you don't have it) into that folder. Lets say your username is Party cd /home/Party/Documents/Froyo fastboot-linux flash system system.img fastboot-linux flash boot boot.img fastboot-linux flash userdata userdata.img fastboot-linux reboot[/codebox] Hi Dan! First: Thanks for guide. Second: on linux, you need root permission. if you are the simple login, you have to use the "sudo" sudo fastboot-linux flash system system.img etc. Edited October 11, 2010 by Rumcájsz

Also noticed that I had /Users/danwilson instead of /Users/Party in the Mac guide. Also need to upload the fastboot-mac file. Guest DanWilson
No kind of a working AS2D on this ROM yet? DarkTremor A2SD works with one of the custom boot.img's And when you flash the zip for A2SD. I'll find both and link to them in the first post (The A2SD will be a slightly older version)

Guest DanWilson
Ubuntu users must type "sudo command" for root permissions, but Debian users type "su" and after the command. Ubuntu users can use "su" as well. As can Mac users. What is required is changing the root password (IIRC). Like I've changed to root / su password to root (original innit?) so I'd type Dan-Wilsons-MacBook:~ danwilson$ su Password:root sh-3.2# [/codebox] Although when I type "root", it's invisible. Probably some sort of protection.

All the passwords typed in terminals doesn't printed anything with standar output, yes it's a security protection.

Don't see why not though. Flash in Recovery In all seriousness - I've lost the boot.img required for A2SD, OC and SWAP to work with CM6 0.20 - Any help? it means "boot_flb_0.20" by Flib ?
