Guest Keyser Scholze Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 hello, i have managed (with help from on here) to de-brand my htc desire and it then automatically upgraded to andriod 2.2 it was a t-mobile device that i bought last week before i de-branded it i tried putting my vodafone (contract) SIM in it and it just said "no sim card in phone" it still says this after i have debranded it i tried putting my girlfriends sim (O2 pay as you go), it doesn't say "no sim card in phone" but i cannot make calls either it just says "no service" when you try to make the call i thought when you put a different sim in it was supposed to ask you for an unlock code? i'm confused thanks for any help
Guest bpivk Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Maybe a dumb question but it happened to me... Did you put your SIM in correctly? Because I had the same problem and (after a few frustrating and confusing minutes) figured out that the SIM isn't inserted correctly.

Guest bpivk Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 That's exactly what happened to me. :P I'm glad you've got it fixed.

Guest bpivk Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Paul posted this so it's probably OK to use this service. http://android.modaco.com/index.php?act=an...f=430&id=12
