Guest TGWS Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Erase, recreate. Welcome. And really try to be a bit more patient... Thats what i done, i thought it worked, and installed a app, and it took up internal storage, not SD card. :/

It'll take a bit of space on the device anyways (even with Dalvik on SD). The main difference is the amount. Output of a2sd check? Is the ext now ext2 (or ext3)?! And shouldn't - ask same stuff in more than one topic - open the 100th thread if there are already 99 of them, please.

Guest Simon O Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I've been trying for awhile now on the forums and google, and i cannot find a guide or anything to go from ext4 to ext2 :/ so stuck. :P Enter the recovery mode and use the options in there to partition the SD card. There isn't a way to convert ext4 to ext2 so you'll have to repartition. clockwork will make ext2. AmonRA will format ext2 also.

So does this mean apps2sd will now work?

With Clockworkmod recovery you need to open Rommanager on your phone and scroll down to "Partition SD Card". There isn't actually a partition option inside the recovery itself so you'll need to do it this way.

Guest TGWS Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 No, that should be fine to work with A2SD. Ok, i installed a app that was around 2MB. It took about 200KB storage off my phone, so im guessing it worked? Thankyou
