I went into Terminal and ran a2sd check

And this come up

Is this normall

Ext Partition found, but not mounted.

Your rom may not be setup to run Apps2SD

Check with your rom developer if the boot image is programmed to run Apps2Sd.

Your Partition maybe using a EXT4 but your rom may not support EXT4. Re partition your SD card to use EX2 or EX3

also, How to i move the Dalvik cache to the SD card?

Help

Cheers

Did you really have to bump the thread after just 17 minutes, even though you didn't even specify which rom you were running?

C'mon man... It'll take a bit of space on the device anyways (even with Dalvik on SD). The main difference is the amount.

Output of a2sd check? Is the ext now ext2 (or ext3)?!

And shouldn't

- ask same stuff in more than one topic

- open the 100th thread if there are already 99 of them, please.

ext4 isn't supported. You need to reformat the partition as ext2.

Enter the recovery mode and use the options in there to partition the SD card. There isn't a way to convert ext4 to ext2 so you'll have to repartition.

clockwork will make ext2. AmonRA will format ext2 also.

I went into Partition Menu, Then Format SDcard.

So does this mean apps2sd will now work?

With Clockworkmod recovery you need to open Rommanager on your phone and scroll down to "Partition SD Card". There isn't actually a partition option inside the recovery itself so you'll need to do it this way.

Ok, i installed a app that was around 2MB.
