[REQUEST] Straight Sense UI

Hi all,

I have seen various UI themes, usually more so vanilla Froyo but also for sense UI. I am not a fan of the expressobar/espressobar launcher or transparent notification screens or any of that, but I do quite like the STRAIGHT rather than curved Sense lockscreen bar and incoming call bar and would love a straight sense dock as well (with the homescreen identifier in place).

Does anyone know how I can achieve this modest tweak? I am running MCR r8 and have a couple of notification bar mods in place already (supercircle battery F and coloured icons) but would love to add this finishing touch.

Any suggestions or help much appreciated.

Hello Wembley ... Harrow here!

Get hold of an e(x)spressobar mod and unpack it, I think you should find an 'apps' folder inside with HtcLockScreen.apk inside .. copy it out to a chosen directory.

use ADB to push it to your device:

# ./adb shell mount /system

# ./adb push /path to saved/HtcLockScreen.apk /system/apps

# ./adb reboot

EDIT: hmmm .. no this probably won't work .. sorry. Will look into it a bit further and post here if I can sus it out!

This is a nice one, but don't I need to flash entire ROM and will lose MCR version.

Couldn't find only the 'mods' to flash over MCR.
