booting into clockwork recovery manually

Hi all.

Does anyone know how to boot into the clockwork recovery manually ?

When I power the device with back button pressed and then choose recovery the device stop in the old recovery mode.

By the way when choosing to enter recovery mode using the rom manager it works fine.

The reason I want to know how to boot into the clockwork recovery manually is because I want to know what to if I cant boot the device after playing with the system using adb.

Put the clockwork mod recovery file on your SD card (rename it update.zip)

Boot into HBOOT, select Recovery and then when at the red ! hold volume up and press power and the select 'apply SD:update.zip'

Done
