Forwarding text messages

Loving the streak but my main gripe is I can't forward text messages. I used to regularly share jokes etc.. with friends but can't seem to do with the streak. Probably a dead simple solution to this but I just can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated :lol:

Just long press on the message and select forward from the menu. Works on the standard message app and handcent

Thanks alot it works a treat but I forward to quite a few friends at a time and I've added them all to a contact group. So how do I send it to a group of people?

you can create contact groups through gmail in your web browser. Im not sure if you can do it direct from the phone, that is how i have done it. You then just sync to your phone. Then when you lect the message to forward you can send to a group. Not sure if u can send to groups with standard message app, but you can with handcent. I recommend this app, its very good.

Or instead of selecting forward you could select copy text. Then create new message and paste message into text box. Then select all the contacts you want to send the message too. Once you send the message itwill save in the conversation list. You can then select the conversation and paste new text and send, no need to reselect contacts.

I hope that makes sense. it would be nice to be able to create groups from the contact app. Now sure if it will be added for later versions
