Guest iwol Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 tried upgrading from 1.41 to 1.6 but pressed wrong buttons at bootup and i think ireinstalled official 2.1 followed guides by opening install recovery windows bat file which flashed on screen very quickly and then went off,but when i hold power.men.red button at start up idont get the custom screen i get one with 3 options reboot system.wipe data/factory reset or wipe cache partition .i did hit wipe data/factory reset at this point,but still cannot get the custom screen please help thanks

What you are seeing is the stock Huawei recovery.img. So, yes, you probably did reinstall the official 2.1, which replaced the previous modified recovery you installed. Go back to the Ultimate Pulse Owners Guides in the pinned topics above if you can't remember how to flash the modified recovery image.

So, yes, you probably did reinstall the official 2.1, which replaced the previous modified recovery you installed.
