Guest Stevos Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 (edited) My phone gallery app (on FLB 2alpha3) is showing facebook galleries. This is something that has been happening since I first started using 2.1 ROMs, and AFAIK has been present in every FLB, stock and 2.2 ROM since. Very early on with the first 2.1 ROM I used, I setup the facebook app, and gave it credentials, so I can understand how it originally got the photos. What I can't understand is how every ROM since then seems to be able to display my facebook galleries in the gallery app despite the facebook app not having any credentials, nor being able to login . The phone has been completely wiped and re-flashed, and the SD card has been reformatted and repartitioned, so I guess somehow the facebook login creds for the gallery are now tied into my google account, but I had no idea this could be done, or how to undo it. It seems that all my base are belong to Google... Edited September 16, 2010 by Stevos
Guest Stevos Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Does anyone know how / why this is happening?
Guest Simon O Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 Do you use Picasaweb? As far as I know the only online gallery that the app gets images from is Picasaweb. Maybe you set up some sort of facebook syncing with that, or you uploaded the photos to Picasa?
Guest Stevos Posted September 17, 2010 Report Posted September 17, 2010 (edited) Ah spot on that's it - thanks. I must have uploaded my Facebook galleries to Picasa *years* ago and forgotten about it (I'd forgotten I'd ever used Picasa...) Actually the Picasa sync thing is quite a nice feature now I know what it is  Edited September 17, 2010 by Stevos
