[Solved] Stuck on Fastboot usb_init

I was installing the Froyo leak when Acer Tool gave me a Fastboot error.

I now have a semi dead Liquid stuck on the Fastboot screen with "usb_init" as the last message.

I have read on this forum that people managed to get it alive by using "acer download tool" again or with a 2.1 rom or even using the same 2.2 rom.

I get the phone recognized by Windows 7 because it finds it and installs the drivers properly but when trying to use the Acer Tool the device is not recognized.

Is there something im missing here?

Help is appreciated and the one that helps me get it up and running will be compensated :lol: I will offer an Acer Liquid Screen Protection.

Thanks for your help, maybe i did not make myself clear enough... that wont help cause the problem is with fastboot itself...

I found that Malez Recovery is still in the House :lol:

Do you people think that if i flash a rom over Malez Recovery the phone will be back ok?

Ok! Got it working! :) Glad Malez Recovery was still intact!

1st. Boot into Recovery using Button Combo: Camera + Vol Down + Power.

2nd. USB Mass Storage toggle to access SD Card from my PC.

3rd. Copy Xian/Koud CM6 Froyo Rom (The Rom I was using before...).

4th. Flash Rom and Reboot went ok.

NOTE: I had never had any problem with Stock or Custom Roms till the day I tried to Flash it using Acer Download Tool from Win XP on Virtualbox cause I'm on a Mac.

WARNING: I do not recommend using Virtual Box Windows installations to flash roms as USB on VBox tends to be slow and break the flashing process... learned the hard way I guess.
