Guest Y S Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 *This is modified from HTC Hero 2.1 Chunghwa rom hence it will only work on HVGA Devices. *I have tested on both Android 2.1/2.2. I am not too sure if it will work for Donut. *Your device doesn't need to have root access. (However additional files need to be copied to sd card first) Please let me know if there is any problems, but I have tried to fix all the force close problem and it should work fine  [installation] 1. Extracts zifiles.zip to your SD card (a directory .ziz8d will be created) 2. install the apk! Download!
Guest Bruce Huang Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Good, kinda workable however, it can show only 2/3 size on Nexus One screen, but it's workable indeed. Thank you any way.
Guest v1nsai Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 (edited) Hey thanks for posting this, just upgraded to 2.1 so I wasn't able to use the old HTC CIME. Every time I try to access the settings, I get this error: 09-26 01:23:21.591 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: Uncaught handler: thread main exiting due to uncaught exception 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.htc.android.cime/com.htc.android.cime.settings.BT3KeyboardSetting}: java.lang.RuntimeException: Your content must have a ListView whose id attribute is 'android.R.id.list' 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.ActivityThread.performLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2558) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.ActivityThread.handleLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2574) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.ActivityThread.access$2400(ActivityThread.java:121) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.ActivityThread$H.handleMessage(ActivityThread.java:1925) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:99) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:136) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.ActivityThread.main(ActivityThread.java:4425) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at java.lang.reflect.Method.invokeNative(Native Method) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:521) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit$MethodAndArgsCaller.run(ZygoteInit.java:860) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at com.android.internal.os.ZygoteInit.main(ZygoteInit.java:618) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at dalvik.system.NativeStart.main(Native Method) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Your content must have a ListView whose id attribute is 'android.R.id.list' 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.ListActivity.onContentChanged(ListActivity.java:236) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at com.htc.preference.HtcPreferenceActivity.onContentChanged(HtcPreferenceActivity. ava:160) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at com.android.internal.policy.impl.PhoneWindow.setContentView(PhoneWindow.java:207 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.Activity.setContentView(Activity.java:1687) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at com.htc.preference.HtcPreferenceActivity.onCreate(HtcPreferenceActivity.java:106 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at com.htc.android.cime.settings.BT3KeyboardSetting.onCreate(BT3KeyboardSetting.jav :273) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.Instrumentation.callActivityOnCreate(Instrumentation.java:1047) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: at android.app.ActivityThread.performLaunchActivity(ActivityThread.java:2521) 09-26 01:23:21.611 16017 16017 E AndroidRuntime: ... 11 more[/codebox] Looks like there's no List for the ListActivity? I'm using a beta ROM with known bluetooth issues and the error seems to be coming from BT3KeyboardSetting so maybe I'll be the only one. Luckily most of the settings are what I would need them to be anyway lol Edited September 26, 2010 by v1nsai
