Hi,

I just had a message on my phone (3UK) - a system update is available, update: android os update patch. I am using the MoDaCo R9 rom. I thought I don't get system updates OTA with custom roms?

You have the notification if you didn't turn off the check system in your prefs, but you cannot install them. Wait for Paul to update the kitchen if needed...

Hi Mate,

I'm using a HTC Desire on 3UK. and It's branded and locked. Is it same with yours? I've a bootloader 0.83 but I managed to root it with Unrevoked. But I can't install any custom ROMs, I tried with Rom manger too, It's going to white screen always when I try to install a rom and doing nothing. So I remove my battery and reboot then it starts with 3 branded ROM as before.

Seems like you have installed a custom rom. If you can tell me how you did it, it'll be a great help.thnx

Did you format the microSD goldcard? I had problems with installing ROMs til I did that.

I seem to have the same problem. Did you get a look to the logcat ? In mine, I see "segmentation faults".

Yeah I did and I'm using that microSD goldcard to install ROMs. Do you think that's the problem? How do I make that microSD goldcard to normal microSD back? any idea? thnx
