Auto Brightness Bug

Hi,

I recently wiped my Streak (1.6 stock, bought in Romania, unlocked) becuase of that bug with the "Paid Apps" not showing. (Regarding that I know that Paid Apps are not available in my country but I used Market Enabler and used to work like a charm. I still see paid apps in search and "Just In" tab. I would like some piece of advice regarding that also).

After re-installing all my apps from apk's used "App Saver" and "App Installer" apps

and my Tasker and other paid apps from the market I noticed the following message coming from Tasker when I plugged in my phone to a charger: "Action Auto Brightness is not available on this device." (I need to mention that I have a task that runs when the phone is plugged in -- Auto Brightness Off -- Set Brightness 255).

Then I also noticed that my "Extended Controls" Brightness step button is not doing anything and stays stuck at 0%.

However, the auto brightness goes on and it is noticeable when used from the phone's settings.

To sum it up I really need your help on these 2 issues:

Paid Apps Tab not coming up in the market not even after a reset and account change.

Auto-Brightness from apps is not working.

the auto brightness never worked for me after i reboot my phone in 1.6

upgrade to 2.1 and itll be fine.
