ristretto_xxxxxxtmp Files

My SD Card is filling up with dozens of files named ristretto_xxxxxxtmp (where xxxxxx is a 6-digit number). Does anyone know what is causing this and how I can stop it?

I can delete them but every day more are added. Having googled the problem, one suggestion was that a YouTube widget was responsible but I don't use YouTube or even have a widget for it....

I think its something that stores or caches images for other apps. Do you have any apps installed such as newsreaders or magazine apps that might do it?

Its indeed the Youtube. Just delete the files.

After a weekend of due diligence, looks like the culprit was the YouTube widget. Once I removed it, I had no more occurrences. On an in depth Google search, ristretto is software used to display images. The YouTube widget keeps changing images.

In my case this cannot be the problem.

If I delete the files, more appear on a daily basis.

@rovex: I don't use any newsreaders or magazine apps either. There are plenty of apps that might do it. It is a case of identifying that app that IS doing it!

Any other ideas?
