Browsing Modaco on a mac

Can any other Mac users help me here ? I have tried using Safari , Firefox , Chrome & Camino , but browsing MoDaCo seems to cause the browsers to "lock up" , seemingly where pictures are posted

Safari gives the spinning beachball for a couple of minutes , then, a slow script report , if you wait it just spins again, but if you cancel you get 100's of error reports for the same image.

Chrome just totally freezes (unable to scroll the page from the offset) , and then give you the option to kill or wait

Firefox and camino are similar to the above

Has anyone else had this trouble , found a solution or worked around it ?

I use safari and chrome and did not notice any issues.
