Guest qwerta369 Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Another newbie question.. I've googled and I'm still confused. On my Nokia, I could quick tap the power button, select Meeting, and bingo - my phone would vibrate and beep when I got a call or text. I just want to be able to do the same with my GT540. I can't see that there's a native way to do this, so I'll have to install an app (am I right so far?). I installed "Profile Manager" and "Profiles" and, while I've only had a small play with them thus far, they seem rather fiddly and too involved. All I want is to be able to select "Meeting" (or whatever), and have the phone vibrate and beep when I get a call or text. But in these apps, where is the "beep" tone? Is it that it takes the tones stored on the phone, and that the GT540 doesn't have a "beep" tone? Or am I doing something glaringly wrong? Please, someone help me!
