Guest Sengadog Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 25% off for Pulse and Pulse mini on TMobile site until the 23rd. Pulse £74.99 and Pulse Mini £59.95 both with 6 months free internet. I may buy one as a spare.

There is still a lot of work to be done but thanks for being so positive! I wouldn't buy a Pulse or Pulse Mini now anyway as the replacement is coming in the next two months.

Guest Simon O Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Might give it a miss then, thanks for the heads up flibb Huawei IDEOS is the replacement and due out by the end of the year. Orange have just launched the San Francisco (ZTE Blade). 600MHz MSM7227 CPU, 3.5inch 480x800 OLED Capacitive screen for £99.99 - it's a bargain.

You should just let people have their fun. Every time I see someone post about 2.2 you make them deflate. Don't get me wrong though, don't let everyone believe that Froyo is 100% Desire quality (Official HTC - not T-Mobile) and flash it just to complain. Damn which side do I support!

Support my side. What ever we support shall WIN!
Guest tabor56 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 if i had not already ordered the Samsung Galaxy apollo i would have had a look at this, plus it will probably be really hard to unlock it.
Guest DanWilson Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Support my side. What ever we support shall WIN! NO! NO MORE OFF TOPIC! But what side do you support? if i had not already ordered the Samsung Galaxy apollo i would have had a look at this, plus it will probably be really hard to unlock it. You mean the Pulse (Mini)? It's easy to unlock.
Guest JimJam707 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 NO! NO MORE OFF TOPIC! But what side do you support? You mean the Pulse (Mini)? It's easy to unlock. No more off topic :) I would advise against the pulse and the mini at this moment in time. I just saw some videos of the Huawei IDEOS and it looks goooooood
Guest tabor56 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 i meant the Orange San Fransico
Guest waj1234 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 I dont really see what those phones offer that the pukse does not. I mean with flb 1.6b on mine it flies and does everything I need now at a decent speed. I would like a camera like the desire has but thats about it really. Even multi touch is a bit gimmicky. The san fransico would have to have a good following and custom roms as the orange branding would annoy me. The pulse is still good value at these prices.
Guest robot1000 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 i meant the Orange San Fransico Do you know when it's being released?
Guest Simon O Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 You should just let people have their fun. Every time I see someone post about 2.2 you make them deflate. I just want people to be realistic about things.
Guest tabor56 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 i think the san fransico is out now/this week, the pulse is a good phone but the lack of a fully working 2.1 is a bit of a killer for me. FLB mod is amazing and puts Huaweis crappy roms to shame.

Didnt fancy the IDEOS small and blurry 2.8 inch screen. Edited September 21, 2010 by cagster
Guest Tom G Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 arghh the zte blade it has a a 2.5mm headset jack why why!!! :) other than that looks good  3.5mm according to this. It sounds interesting. Do I really need a third android phone?
Guest supertwisted Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 only 150mb ram on the san francisco though, not sure how well that will work. Got a pulse arriving this week, toying with the idea of returning it for one of these, but less ram than the pulse and the question of whether or not it can be unlocked puts me off.
Guest newpbc Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Hi all newb here Just got one of these turned up yestarday gutted because of the price drop and now cause of this orrange phone how much better is it. Is it worth me invoking my 7 day return thing if its still valid now I've oppened the box
Guest Simon O Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 only 150mb ram on the san francisco though, not sure how well that will work. 150mb internal storage actually. RAM should be at least 256MB, possibly 512MB. I've not had a chance to play with one yet to find out.

How do you get £11 cashback? I've just looked on Quidco and it seems to be a fiver?

Or I may gift it to the wife as she's been on about getting a new phone. I'll take the gamble that I can get the San Francisco unlocked.
