[WIP] Bootanimation :)

Hi, just wanted to show you a little bootanimation i'm playing around with.

It's just a little text animation and not finished but i think it's kinda cool already

Yea it's got my nick in it but if anyone's interested i can make one with your text, name, colors, whatever.:lol:

I've attached a version without the name.

To install:

adb push boot1.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip

(i think in 2.1 it goes to /system/media/bootanimation.zip. (i'm using 2.2 leak))

You can test it without rebooting with

adb shell bootanimation

(stop width ctr+c)

update:

added new standard "acer liquid" animation (boot_al.zip)

if you feel generous, i won't mind a beer : ) not necessary though. (hope the link works lol)

I like it ! But there's one thing that's a bit problematic ... It's too empty. There should be something on the top of the animation. I don't know what, but it's too empty as it is atm.

Any chances you'll make a clean universal "Acer Liquid" animation?

Had som problems with froyo so I'm on 2.1 and i'd look kinda stupid to have a froyo animation on eclair.

with such a large amount of empty space, it might be better if you center the text and trim off any excess black.

I like the text on the bottom, maybe you can put an Android on top of text...

I think the text alone is fine, try to keep it as (physically) small as possible.

You might also want to work on the fade out, letting the text fall apart in particles, or at least adding some sort of effect.

I love the animation though, great work!
