Guest kno1 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 (edited) It seems, whenever google updates something, it's impossible to update it from the market when you're on r8 or r9. You always get the package not signed correctly error. Google maps, google streetview, google (voice) search and now Gmail. Is it possible for someone to explain to me what's causing this? Paul, will you be able to solve this in a future update? I mean, in such a way that future updates from the market are possible. Or can it only be solved by baking a rom without google apps and installing them fresh from the market? I actually tried that on r8, but no joy. Or will we always have to wait for an updated kitchen? I love my MCR, but this is such a drag... :) Remco PS I'm a developer myself, c++, c#, so don't be afraid to get technical  Edited September 21, 2010 by kno1
Guest pseudoreal Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 good question as I do have the same issues.
Guest bcmobile Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) All of the above apps install from the market on R9 if you bake a ROM without them. Edit: R9 20/9 to be precise Edited September 24, 2010 by bcmobile

Guest Diggedy Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 not 100% sure but I think its related to pauls optimisations. There are some workarounds if you dont want to wipe and install a new rom
