Guest j.blaze Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Hi guys, I would like to create a new Espresso MOD. I saw some pretty cool MOD's and would like to pick some features from everyone and make my own. Can someone tell me, what do I have to modify. Is it enough to just exchange the pictures or do I have to modify some xml files?
Guest FatherD Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Hi guys, I would like to create a new Espresso MOD. I saw some pretty cool MOD's and would like to pick some features from everyone and make my own. Can someone tell me, what do I have to modify. Is it enough to just exchange the pictures or do I have to modify some xml files? Hi, I do my mods by choosing the framework then modding the images, it does come into trouble sometimes such as for my new SilverCircle r9, I based this on smooth-sense, and found that the battery mod I wanted in there was short of around 13 charging symbols, i had to double the amount of GPS images etc etc - this is where I have only one way to go - I cannot/haven't yet researched editing .xmls, so I had to make new images. When it comes to espresso I think there are some custom .xmls in there so you will have to carry those over, and maybe some other stuff in there has been subtly changed, which might make it difficult. Tip: Carry as much of the original, its folders and content into your mod, just edit what you notice has been modded from the default framework to make espresso! Hope that makes sense :s All the best
Guest j.blaze Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 The thing is, I now have the Espresso Lockscreen, Bar and incoming Call Bar. What I would like to change is the EspressoBar like in the screenshot. Looks really great. But I don't know what do I have to change. Only the pictures aren't enough.
