baking apps on rom

When baking a rom, is it better to bake apps such as maps, Gmail and YouTube or not?

Or is better to leave them out and download from market instead?

Which way uses less space?

It doesn't matter

But it's better to exclude only Gmail from the kitchen because it will be updating through the market.

Is it better to exclude maps and street view also? I don't want to rebake every time if I want to update certain apps.

That about sums it up.

My personal opinion is that it's better to have a light rom so you can install and update apps at will.

But that doesn't go for all apps. If you have one that doesn't need to be updated and you don't want it to be erased you can cook it into the rom and that's it.
