--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Announce:

This is an EXPERIMENTAL build from T-Mobile 2.6.29 Kernel.

I had test it work for a week ,but please notice that

THE RISK OF CHANGE BOOT IMAGE IS ON YOUR OWN.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edit: Fix the batch file in boot_rndis.zip for the ability of drag file.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Rndis port to 2.1 system finished, the needed files are attached.

In the Zip file, there are four files in it.

kernel_rndis_function_src.zip is the source code to build kernel.

config.build is the .config for kernel menuconfig.

The NetFilter functions are coming from the 2.6.29 in kernel/msm.git from android.git.kernel.org .

boot_rndis.zip is the boot image for FLB1.4 Rom, only enable rndis, mass storage, and adb.

(but I think the ADB isn't needed for general usage.)

Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device.zip is the Driver for Rndis in WinXP, from XDA.

Win7 or Vista have the build-in driver for Rndis.

If you have installed the Driver by CD, please change the driver manually.

There are two problem in this boot image,

1. Selecting ADB on/off in setting may reboot.

2. Recorder couldn't open the file directory.

3. Windows USB system may crash.(Rarely, for Testing windows only.)

Work Function:

1. Vibration.

2. Camera.

3. Wifi with NetFilter, the android-wifi-tether 2.0.5 beta series could work.

4. 3G Network sharing via Rndis service from android-wired-tether 1.2.

Because the barnacle wifi tether would disconnect when I was using the BBS and

MSN about 10 mins, so I ported this from 1.5 kernel for more reliable connection in CHT8000.

By the way, the Froyo USB tether use the gadget form the android.git.kernel.org.

But the Code Aurora source for pulse use the "function" USB system.

The function USB system is only support the CDC ECM type network via USB.

So we need to wait Huawei to implement the Froyo Rndis function in feature is a better way.

Best Regards,
