Streak does not see tethered WIFI

Morning all,

I've Streak (US version) running 2.1

I also have Nokia N900 which is on TMo and I've enabled wifi thru tethering using MobileHotspot app on my Nokia.

My laptop can see the N900 WIFI but Streak can not.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the reason?

If it's an ad-hoc network (which I suspect it is), check out this thread
