If I was buying a cheap Droid now I would go for that certainly.

Not enough for me to bother upgrading though - Pulse was my intro into Android and its great but my next phone will be at the top end spec wise.

Blimey, glad this phone did not get released any earlier or I reckon the Pulse would have been abandoned long ago from a development perspective.

Thankfully it looks like Pulse is just going to manage to get a very good 2.1 ROM, swap, overclock and multitouch - just in time before everyone jumps ship and legs it!

To those that go for a Blade - good luck with it. Looks a decent bit of kit.

Ehhh, yes we do have. My provider on my Provider list states:

T-Mobile

Orange

We used to have Orange but then they merged with this and that and now they don't exist any more as a separate provider. Merged with T-Mobile I believe

Either way, I don't think we can get them over here...

if someone sees them in a UK shop that ships internationally, please do link me

Woooh hold on boys and girls...has anyone checked what the internet tarrif is yet?? 6 months access for £20 on T-mobile, can it beat that, I bet it doesnt. I guess if its unlockable then it doesn't matter but I bet orange are all over locking it down.

Wish I had bought my pulse as a PAYG phone and not a stupid 24 month contract >_<

Well.. Sell the pulse and pop the T-Mobile sim into the ZTE

When it's unlocked ofc

+1

Since I got my entry level Android with the Pulse, and I'm pretty satisfied with it now, I wouldn't go for another one that would be obsolete in a 3 to 4 month period

Looking as there has been a year since the Pulse launched it's not that big of a progress. Cheers though, good luck for the guys getting one.

I cant say that this is the pulse killer, more like pulse`s bigger matured brother :)

As igor said the pulse is one year old now so you cannot compare it to a phone thats been out no more than a month.

Sure it has some more memory and a higher res screen but it must have those specs now because it would be lost in the oncoming 1.5GHz and dual core smartphone madness. After the pulse i would go to a much higher spec phone than this one, sure looks nice and cheap enough though.

Some more memory.

Lets forget that memory was the biggest problem with the pulse :)
