Guest Chris4x Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 I've just got a T-Mobile Pulse (default Android 1.5) and am trying to import contacts from GMail. My contacts in GMail are in a number of different Groups. When I sync my Pulse with them, the Groups do not show up in 'Contacts', all the individual contacts appear in a single list, there are no tabs at the top for the Groups. If I select an individual contact and choose 'Add to Group' it does bring up a list of some (but not all) of my original GMail groups, and I am able to add the contact to a group, the group tab still doesn't appear at the top though. The only way I can seem to delete these 'phantom' Groups is Factory Reset. Am I doing something wrong, or is this facility just broke? Thanks
Guest Chris4x Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 OK, I'm guessing from the lack of any responses (and a bit of Googling) that it's simply broke. Does anybody know if an upgrade to 2.1 fixes this problem? Thanks

Guest Simon O Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 None of the dialer apps display contacts in groups (stock ones), try searching the market. It's a feature that Google never implemented in the contacts application, sadly. A third party contacts application might work though.
