Google calendar

Ok i have searched everywhere for this on the net and can not find a straight answer.

on my gt540 there is a calendar and i use it, when i make an appointment online on my computer, it syncs and shows up on my phone.

but the appointments i make on the phone are not showing up on Google calendar on my computer, weather auto sync or manual sync.

i have read somewhere about using the Google calendar and not the stock one on the phone, but have searched on the phone couldnt find, went to market to try to download nothing there, and tried online nothing there either. when i go to my calendar settings it says i have 4 calendars, phone, [email protected],canadian holidays, and exchange. when i make an appt. under the title it shows me calendar phone, if i made it on phone. and shows [email protected] if i made it online. i tried to check and see if i can change this but can not find where, please help me with this.

I didn't realise that I had the same problem until you brought this up.

My solution....with the calendar open, go to "My Calendars" (via menu, more) and untick Phone and Exchange, leaving just my named google account. I only want to work with one calendar. It does mean that I have had to re-enter events set up in my "phone" calendar (all one of them). Might be more hassle for you if you have entered lots on your phone.

I'm surprised there isn't an option to synchronise. I assume that the sync option is only between your google calendar online and your google account on the phone.

You can leave the phone calendar active, but then when you add entries, you need to select your google account instead of phone - it seems to always default to the phone.

I don't think you can change the default, but if you unselect the phone calendar, the google calendar becomes the default.
