Froyo 2.2 on UK SIM Free Handset

Hi,

Hoping someone may have seen this problem. I've got a Desire on Froyo 2.2 (Baseband 32.43.00.32U_5.09.20, Kernel 2.6.32.15-gf9c0527 htc-kernel@and18-2#1, Build number 2.09.405.8.CL218634 release keys, Software Number 2.09.405.8, Browser version Webkit 3.1) and hboot of 0.92

When I've been trying to switch to video mode on the camera app recently and hit the shutter to record it seems to hang the app. If I come out i then seem to get rapid battery drain and a _lot_ of heat. I guess this indicates something is hammering the CPU and thus generating the heat and draining the battery. Are there known issues with the camera app and this version of froyo..

Is it a space issue on the SD card as there's a couple of GB free on there...

not sure how to proceed.

any advice appreciated.

Try to delete folder DCIM from SD card. If not helps, try to use different card.
