Guest fcasoli Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Hi, I have a new device, ROM 1.6 stock, unlocked. If I press the camera button for a long time, camera application doesn't start, but if I do when the camera app is open, the button starts the focus simbol, so I think there is a problem of the button but softeare issue... The same in video application, the button doesn't start a video... Also, how can I disable vibration of right buttons (Menu, Home and Back)? thanks a lot
Guest MikeF74 Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) It's a two-stage button. Either you're not pressing it hard enough, or your button is defective. It requires a full press to launch the camera app. Once in the camera app, a half-press will auto-focus -- a full press will trigger the shutter. As for disabling the vibrations, have a look around this forum. There's a way to permanently disable it (but not simply via menus -- it requires a little hackery).
