Can not install app after upgrading to 2.1

Hello everyone!

I've strange issue.

I have US version of Streak and I upgraded to 2.1 last week. Everything was working fine.

After that I tried re-root dell using superboot and after i tried that I rebooted the Streak and it just sat at the Dell Logo. (i knew i was kinda in trouble)

I then restored back to 1.6 O2 stock rom and then upgraded back to 2.1

Everything seems to be running fine except I can not download apps from Market.

I can search the app and when I click on install, it says "download was unsuccessful, please try again later".

Anyone has any idea, what could be causing this?

While I haven't had this issue, in the interest of the community, it would be nice if you posted how you fixed it. Kinda cuts down on people asking the same question over and over if they can do a search and the relevant threads include not only the same problem, but the solution to it :lol:

I was going to actually post what caused it, later in the day.

All it was that after re-installing/upgrading 2.1, i had not set correct date and time. As soon I set correct time and date, I was alright. (Silly me!!)

I have the same problem that I'm failed to install apps neither from Market nor APK file directly.

I just flashed my Streak HK to O2 1.6 > 2.1 and then MoDaCo 1.1.1 > 1.4.1 > 1.2

Please help! Now my Streak can only send email or surf web ....

The issue about APPS INSTALLATION is fixed in 1.4.5 in my case ( but the Market apps always FC )
