Guest Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Solved  What did you do? I tried the same and get a black screen too.
Guest Exlo Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Make sure that the compression is set to "store" when you zip it, thats it! Thanks to "BoSib" on XDA
Guest potter97 Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Make sure that the compression is set to "store" when you zip it, thats it! Thanks to "BoSib" on XDA  Also if you find you still get a black screen after that make sure your desc.txt has a "enter" on the last line. Enter as in pressing enter on your keyboard. Lol
Guest Master_Ne0 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Thought i would have a go at this, so i took a working one, extracted it, edited some of the .png files (using paint), compressed it (using WinRAR and store compression) then pushed. Still i just get a black screen!?! Anyone know what i am doing wrong? (Other then using windoze! :) )
Guest Benjamin120 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 (edited) How can I replace the modaco text into my own name? edit: k i've created my own bootlogo. Works fine with the manual in the forum. Thanks Edited October 7, 2010 by Benjamin120
Guest Master_Ne0 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 edit: k i've created my own bootlogo. Works fine with the manual in the forum. Thanks Can you post how did it? I don't seem to be able to get it to work. Thanks.
Guest Benjamin120 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 (edited) I've download the bootlogo.zip in this thread: http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...ted-05-09-2010/ After that I've unzip the file and replaced the images in the folder part0 with my own files (the same numeration). After that i have zip the files again with the compression "store" (very important). I used this guide to install the bootlogo [from the same linked thread]: You can install bootanimations from your phone with "Root explorer" in the android market, just copy the bootanimation to your SDcard, then copy it to /data/local Edited October 8, 2010 by Benjamin120
Guest Mondaro Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 when pushing bootanimation.zip to /data/local via adb ... my bootanimation doesn't change at all ... pretty weird ...
