Guest psych0t1c Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 I have a HTC Desire, which was on o2 Froyo / HBOOT .93 and which was rooted with unrevoked3. I then installed a custom baked ROM and added a few bits and pieces to test them out without actually knowing if I would use/need them. Now, is there a way to get rid of those without reflashing? I am talking about for instance HTC Car Panel, which resides in /system/app. Is there a way to mount this part of the filesystem as r/w so I can bin the application or is that only possible as soon as somone figured out a way to get "safety off" mode permanently? I have tried the chuck norris mode supplied by titanium backup for the removal but to no avail. And of course I can go and mount the fs in clockworkmod (which is r/w i suppose) but how do i browse to the file then in order to remove it? b
Guest The Virus 2013 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 You can connect with adb in recovery, then launch adb shell, then do: # mount /system # ls /system Done!
