Copilot Problem on r9

I have Copilot installed on my phone (Version 8.2.0.218). I noticed recently that I was unable to add any new places to my favourites list. This was on the r9 version of the ROM.

I have today rebaked an r8 version of the ROM and the problem has disappeared.

Is there a solution please? I want to have the latest ROM but I use Copilot a lot and don't want to be without this vital feature!

Did you load this update manually? I have the program set to automatic updates but it isn't downloading anything....

Have you actually tried adding any new favourites since you've been on r9?

Mine is set to do it automatic but not getting any updates so I used aTrackDog to check if theres updates and download and install manually, I can saved favorites on r9 will check again but I'm very confident that it's still working.

[EDIT]: just added my current position! Went out of copilot and in again, The saved position is still there.

Do you get an error while saving or do it save but don't display under favourites?, do you have more than one mapset loaded if so try switching too a different mapset,

also look on your sd card under copilot map folder if you have a favorites.lst in the 'save' subfolder. on mine its located "\copilot\AF\Africa\save".

i'm only using one mapset.

On r9 I didn't get any error - the favourite just did not appear in the favourites list.

I am currently on r8 and reluctant to return to r9 until I know what the solution is. In r8 everything works as it should. In r9, everything except the saving of the favourites seemed to work.

My folder structure is \Copilot\copilot\EU\Europe\save\favorites.lst

I have a \Turkey\ folder also in \EU\

All I can suggest is to make sure that you have the favorite.lst file in both your mapsets. Or use Copilot central to backup your favorites in r8 and after your restore the apps and data on r9 use copilot central again to restore the favorites.

Hope this help good luck!

Hi!

I'm using the 8.2.0.218 version on a R9 and all works fine. Try to wipe your phone an re-install it...

Hope you will fix it closely
