how to get a password on msgs?

Hi im new to this forum.. last ten mins lol

Iv had little search and can't find any topic on setting a password on msgs or use of the phone at all on a LG gt 540

i have password for sim for when phone is tunred on but dont seem to be able to find out how to get one for use of phone or msgs.. prob not a big deal to some people but when you have idiot friends :lol: its a must lol B)

thanks in advance if there any anwsers even if its there is no way of doing it B)

You can set an unlock pattern on the Settings - Security & Location screen.

You then have to "draw" a pattern on the Screen to use the phone itself.

You know about the Sim Lock, and there's another for credential locking..for personal details.

Don't know if there's an old style phone lock code though.
