Orange rewards issue

Anyne else found this? I paid for the £10 topup at the store, have a receipt that says topup successful and got a text saying my balance was now £10, signed up for dolphin so should get 300 texts and free internet. Got home and downloaded a few apps from the store, after a while apps stopped downloading and I eventually got a message saying I had run out of credit, I couldn't even call customer services from the phone as they charge 25p per minute! I called from another phone and was told that the topup could take 24 hrs to come through which sounds like nonsense since I had the text with my credit on it. I suspect the dolphin hasn't been setup yet and my £10 has gone on data!

Yes it took about 2 days for my 'extras' package to be activated.Credit went on straight away.But it seems you have to wait a while for the tariff you choose to kick in.

This is what happened to me exactly!!! And orange client services would not refund my topup just told me to go to the store and complain!

Then told me to go to a website to get £10 offer, I was like wtf???

Heh.. Orange eh?

T-Mobile only ever charge you a max of £1 a day for data (then you auto get unlimited for the rest of the day).. And "unlimited" is 3gb not 100mb

Honestly I won't even consider this phone until I can use my T-Mobile sim!

I fell out with O2 when my cookie unlocked itself and went surfing.. Resistive touch screen ftl. :lol:

Had these same issues, it's why I can't wait to get it unlocked so I can use my good old o2 sim card in it!

spoke to someone with a very string indian accent on a very bad line this morning, eventually got them to escalate to billing since the shop told me I would get free internet and I haven't (it takes upto 72 hours after topup for a reward to come through!). At the moment I'm not tempted at all to port my tmobile number over to orange, I want the phone unlocked instead!

Orange is without a doubt ranks #1 for the WORST CS I have ever come across. They simply don't have a clue.

Do they still do that watchdog program, get Annie on the case?

It gets worse, still no internet access on the phone so I thought I'd try someone elses sim in it to check the phone is ok, his is an Orange Contract sim, the phone wouldn't get a signal with it and when I tried to force it onto orange manually I got a message saying your sim does not allow you to connect to this network!
