faster indicator blinking interval?

Any mods that does such thing? Cause i find turning on the screen to check messages are easier than waiting for it to blink even though the screen does take a while to be woken from the power button.

So, i am wondering if there is a mod, app, that can do the led control for the indicator lights on the top of the liquid or even be able to just keep them on regardless and only turn it off when i acknowledge the notification? I am not too concern about the battery life as i have my laptop around most of the time to charge my phone anytime i like.

If its a mail, i have no idea how to shorten the interval, but on text message, use an app like chomp sms or handcent, usually the led is non-blinking.
