R8 2.2 Froyo APN Connection failure

Hi

I have installed R8 of the Froyo 2.2 MoDaCo Custom Rom on a HTC Desire which is has no SIM-Lock or other constraints.

Everything works fine but the network connection over 2G/3G GSM.

I'm using Israel Cellcom and have created an APN with the standard settings.

WiFi is working without problem.

Thanks for any advice!

Edit: I have flashed CM6.0.2 and Internet is working with Edge. Could it be that Edge is not supported by this ROM?
