Total charge to me was £88.95. If that includes a top up, even better.

As the phone is supposed to be £99 + compulsory top up of £10, and you got £20 off, then you have paid for a top up, although there seems to be a 5p discrepency there, in your favour!!

I spoke to an operator who said the £20 discount is a loyalty discount and you only get it if you have been with them for more 6 months. She also mentioned that it is totally separate from the phone fund.

So you cant just get a new sim and use that for the discount.

I've just ordered one over the phone and got the £20 discount. £88.95 including the £10 top up (which is a voucher they send out with the phone).... wouldn't let me use my phone fund on top of that though, but can't complain, still worked out better!

offered me £30 off the phone?

just paid a total of £78.99 and getting delivered on Wednesday

didn't ask if I got a tenner credit with that but I'm very happy

p.s. had this sim card for 2 years, only ever use it for orange wednesdays and still got over 17 quid credit left

And if not, would reactivating that particular SIM reentitle me for the discount because it was previously used on the Orange network more than three months ago?

Probably not at then they will see it as you starting again. You could always give it a try though.

Looks like I'll have to ring up then. How long is delivery taking? Problem is that I'm going abroad next week, and don't want to be with an unfamiliar phone. May just wait until I get back.

Out of interest which option did you try from the 0800 No.? I've got an old sim and the people I spoke to never even asked for the number, it was a straight no.

Ordered off website now, hopefully get the cash back on that.
