Problem with my Wlan

Hey Guys,

i had a Desire with Branding and 2.1. Then ive done the OVA Update to 2.2

and from that time on my Wlan doenst seem to work anymore.

So i rooted my phone and now im on MoDaCo r8.( The prebaked from the Froyo thead)

Maybe u have some idea wheres the problem?

So wlan is still not working? Did you wipe data before flashing with MCR8?

If not do it and reflash.

Yeah wiped with all with the 4 options and also formated the fat32 and the ext partition.

Also tryed to reflash the custom rom. Everything worked fine and r8 is running well.

Now i figured out that i can connect to an open Wlan. But connect to my WAP secured

Wlan is still not working. The Router has the same options like before the update.

No Mac-Filter on, only WAP - tkip secured. Any idea what i can do now?

This could be an ARP cache problem within the router - Login and search or the ARP cache log and reset it, or simply rename your SSID, reset your Wlan pword, reboot the router then attempt to re-connect!

What router you are using? AVM Fritz!Box?

Since i flashed with 802.11n i got wifi connection problems to my fritz!box.

Solution: deaktivate 802.11n on Fritz!Box or use rom without 802.11n on Desire.

@ FatherD: Tryed all the things u said some days ago, but i still can only connect to an open Access Point.

@p-d: Im using a Linksys Router. U had the problem after you flashed to 2.2 and on 2.1 it worked?

What Rom should i try?
