Guest towo Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) Using R9 for some time now, I've had some rather annoying audio issues:Bluetooth problems persist with R9. Things witnessed:No headset forwarding. Phone audio always stays on the phone, calls do not get forwarded either.Lossy A2DP audio connection: Randomly, Bluetooth audio stops getting forwarded to the headset, making it play from the phone instead - all the while the phone says that everything's a-ok.Wired/general audio problems: Randomly stops playing audio all of a sudden. MusicPlaybackService still running, though. [Need to logcat this.]Seems to get choppy when the Android system load is high. Both of the latter issues may be related to the Music process having less priority than necessary. What I'd like is some +1s from people having similar issues (best would be quoting all that matches and putting your +1 below this) and what your setup looks like. Some pointers from my side: R9 without any perflock/setcpu/etc mods, MW600 Bluetooth headset (which worked perfectly fine with stock 2.1) Edited September 27, 2010 by towo
Guest skinnypupp Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Yes I am having similar issues. I noticed that music would skip with the screen disabled, but I assumed this was due to the CPU being locked at min speed. Haven't tried to fix it yet. I normally use Lithium Player, but I tried to use the standard HTC music app, and it had the same problem you did - the audio just stopped eventually.

You get the standard pause when receiving tweets and stuff. It is when it will just go choppy for no reason, the music player needs to be reset in order for it to work properly. Likewise bluetooth has been playing up since earlier builds. You are very lucky when streaming music if this doesn't happen. For the music player I use Music Mod now, as it doesn't play up as much as the stock player. The problem is there is nothing running at the same time, for this to to play up with me. The one thing I would say is, battery life for me is the best I have had. Since 3pm yesterday only 20% has gone down. If haven't had major use, just a couple of calls, Twitter checks, some Facebook use and a couple of goes on Fruit Ninja. When downloading the rom, perflock and IPv6 are disabled with the custom governor settings installed. No other additional modules are used. As I don't know what they do I won't install.
