Hiya

I am looking for the Torch app to download that Paul has in the kitchen, as a seperate download. I have looked in the maket where there are loads of torchs but not that one. I need to put it on my wifes Samsung Galaxay.

Also is it possible to get the Sense Fav Contacts as a seperate app. My wifes Galaxay needs that as well as the one that comes as stock is terrible

I would presume you could pull the Torch app out of a MCR zip if you bake one and then just push it to the Galaxy.

I haven´t tried though.I don´t know if it´s an installable apk though or if it has to be placed in a specific folder.

But Android is android, the structure for where stuff goes should not differ that great from product to product should it? I don´t know exactly but I presume so. My guess is the difference between the different phones, be it HTC, Samsung or Google themselves. The basic structure of Android is identical just with different overlays in the system. Stock Android for Google,Sense for HTC and I don´t know what Samsung has put on Galaxy.

But see if you can´t pull the Torch from an MCR zip and just place it in the same location that you pulled it from the zip on your wifes Galaxy.

That´d be my advice. I presume theres no installable apk but maybe there is.

Download a zip and take a look around. As long as it´s not against MoDaCo regulations ofc. I am not sure if it is, so check that one first.
