I think people might need a little more specifics on what you've done already before knowing what to suggest. (Well, I do, but then I can be fairly dumb at times.)
Guest TGWS Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 You need to flash the downgrade.zip from hauwie. Then do the 1.5 update. *Duno how to spell their name*

This will NOT work for those using a U8320 or a U8220-6. Edited September 28, 2010 by nizarovich

Guest Simon O Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 I would suggest installing the time machine patch but you've already tried that. It's possible that it doesn't work for the U8230. Does your phone work Ok with the red bull rom? Why do you want to go back to 1.5?

Guest Simon O Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 If that didn't work then use this one instead: http://www.huaweidevice.com/community/serv...5704/UPDATA.APP copy the file into a folder called dload on the SD card.

Guest Simon O Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 oh my god "Error You are not authorized to download the requested file." Try this link instead: dload.zip
Guest Simon O Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 sorry same problem  I do not understand this. Maybe there is something very different about the U8230 which means you can't use the downgrade. I hope somebody with a U8230 can help you.
Guest nizarovich Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 thank u brother ^^ > im very tired i can't fix this problem :'()
Guest nizarovich Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 (edited) OEMSBL version unmatched: this is from log update Edited September 28, 2010 by nizarovich
Guest twrock Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 oh my god "Error You are not authorized to download the requested file." Is that what your computer responded when you tried to download the file, or what your phone responded when you tried to update it? Did you ever completely and carefully follow each step in The Ultimate Pulse Owners Guide in the section called "Returning to the Official 1.5 Update", BUT substituting a different rom instead of the "december update" in Step 6? I ask again because many of your responses to the suggestions you have been given sounded to me to like you were saying you didn't think you could do that, but you hadn't actually followed each step precisely. (My apologies if I am wrong about that.) Since it seems your phone is screwed already, I don't mind making the suggestion that you just try this again. But I have edited the guide to try to make a couple of points a little more clear. Here is what I mean, with Step 6 edited and in bold. But, please start from Step 1 and carefully work your way through it. The Guide Step 1: Prepare your phone, backup anything you need to the SD card or computer. Note that everything will be wiped off your phones internal memory. Step 2: Download the Official 1.5 downgrade file from here: http://www.huaweidevice.com/community/serv...25490/dload.zip Step 3: Extract the contents of the ZIP file to any location on your computer. Place the entire "dload" folder onto the Root of your SD card By "Root" I mean do not place the /dload folder into any subfolders Step 4: Power off your Device. When the phone has fully powered off press and hold the following buttons: POWER + RED (End Call) + VOLUME UP You may release these buttons when the message "Preparing Update" appears on your screen Step 5: Confirm that you wish to update and allow the device to run it's course. The phone may get stuck on "Restarting" if so wait a few minutes then remove and re-insert the battery If your phone "Fails to Update" Please refer to the FAQ. Step 6: Download a compatible "official" rom for your device from your device's manufacturer. This rom needs to also be in the "/dload/UPDATA.APP" format. (This can be a 1.5 or 2.1 rom update.) Step 7: Extract the contents of the ZIP file to any location on your computer. Place the entire "dload" folder onto the Root of your SD card. (Delete the previous dLoad directory on your SD card first.) By "Root" I mean do not place the dload folder into any subfolders. Step 8: Power off your Device. When the phone has fully powered off press and hold the following buttons: RED (End Call) + VOLUME UP + POWER You may release these buttons when the message "Preparing Update" appears on your screen Step 9: Confirm that you wish to update and allow the device to run it's course. The phone may get stuck on "Restarting" if so wait a few minutes then remove and re-insert the battery If your phone "Fails to Update" Please refer to the FAQ It is entirely normal for your phone to experience a partial Boot-Loop. So don't be alarmed if it loops once. Step 10: Allow your phone 5+ minutes to boot up for the first time. PS - I would suggest you do all of the copying of the folders/files onto your SD card from your computer using a card reader. Oh, and never make the assumption that none of the files are corrupt. Start from scratch and download and copy them again (I've had stranger things happen.) Good luck.
Guest nizarovich Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I should copy dload file with recovery mod(mount SD card) ! or using a card reader!
