Guest Kuteguy Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Hi, As the vetran users of WinMo know - MyMobiler (or something similar) was one of the best s/w for allowing you to see and control your WinMo phone via your PC. Supposedly there is something similar for Android - Screencast http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=557717 However, I can't get it to work on my Windows XP SP3 machine -> It does not show my device in the list. I have heard that for starters we should be able to 'adb devices' via command prompt and be able to see our device - I can't. I think I am missing the USB drivers for Windows XP for starters. Any pointers? anyone else who has gotten Screencast to work on XP SP3 and ZTE blade? Thanks
Guest Kuteguy Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 nobody is interested in Mymobiler for Android?? this was one of the most used programs for Winmo
Guest tommyj Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I'll be having this when my Blade arrives later today... looks superb.
Guest Blake Loring Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Tried it. Can confirm it works after installing the correct drivers and Android SDK (I'm on linux and already had it all installed so just added the vendor ID to android rules). Too slow to be of any benefit to me though

Guest Blake Loring Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 any idea where I can get the USB drivers for Win XP SP3? Sorry. Try searching this section of the forum - I'm not a windows user so I wouldn't know.
Guest daniel_owen_uk Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-working-on-xp/ Instructions there, be nice if someone could post the drivers save everyone having to do the same thing. (I'm not doing it as I can't test as I don't have an XP machine)
